Describe the most ambitious DIY project you’ve ever taken on.
My husband and I used to winter in Bisbee ,AZ. We went to a 100 yr Methodist church. We asked if we could fix up their little bathroom. They said we prefer if you could paint the outside of the church. Mmmm.. I guess. Turned out to be a huge project! It was 3 stories high due to Bisbee’s landscape. It was hot
and the church faced west. We had to scrape off the old paint. Then we had to paint the wood with oil and then we had to paint with oil based expensive paint. It had several rows of wood scallops that were painted 3 different colors!! Took 3 of us 2 months. It was beautiful but would never take on a project like that again.
