Sugar Kitty and Puppy Stories

It’s been a tough week for Sugar Kitty. My baby girl. I was in the basement with the puppies late one night. She came down the stairs and the dogs went chasing after her. She was so scared and they were barking. They would not hurt her, just chased. So for several days after that she lived behind the chair in Denny’s office. Then slowly would come out and eat and be petted. Finally she is settled in her tower looking at the squirrels. I hate when one of my pets are sad.

I got home from work at 9:15 pm. Let puppies out of the bedroom so they can see me for a bit. They go back to bed at 9:45. Then Sugar Kitty thinks she needs to sit on my lap and purr. Sit on my head and smack me in the face with her tail. This goes on til 11 pm when I get my laptop to write. It is now 11:45 pm and she has finally gone out of the room. She sat on my keys and opened so many programs. Had to shut down and restart. Then she saw my earbuds and knocked one on the floor. I spent 10 min looking for it and still haven’t found it. I love my animals but they are needy. I may need to start writing at the library.

Not only does Sugar Sew and craft with me, she enjoys helping me write. I do have to put the laptop monitor down when she hops up because she will walk on it and who knows what she would say! Now the dogs can roam the house, there seems to be a camaraderie happening. She will at least sit in her tower in the tv room when they are in here too.
